I have learnt ...

No problem lasts forever ... no matter how permanently fixed in the centre of our lives it may seem.

Whatever we experience in this ever-changing life is sure to pass. Even pain.

Difficult situations often bring out qualities in us that otherwise might not have risen to the surface, such as courage, faith and our need for one another. All of our experiences can help us grow.

But we need patience. Some wounds cannot be healed quickly. They must be given time.

In the meantime, we can appreciate the new capabilities we are developing such as the capability to mourn and the willingness to accept.

I have learnt.

There is no special way

Looking around, you wonder why
we can live a life that's never satisfied
Lonely hearts, troubled minds
looking for a way that we can never find
Many roads are ahead of us
with choices to be made
But life's just one of the games we play

Future dreams can never last
when you find yourself still living in the past
Keep moving on to higher ground
looking for the way you thought could not be found
We may not know the reason
why we're born into this world
where a man only lives to die
and his story left untold

So, make the best of what's given you
and everything will come in time
Why deny yourself?
Don't let life just pass you by

Those of us who have this particular vision must continue against all odds.

Living a new life ...

Nobody knows how long they would ever live. But one thing we do know is that we have to live responsibly for ourselves and for those around us, especially our family and loved ones.

We have to realise it's not the load that breaks you down, it's the way you carry it.
